Korean Hyundai Steel recently announced its financial result for 2012.

In 2012, the company realized sales revenues of KRW14.1 trillion, falling by 7.4% year on year. The sales profits were at KRW8.7 hundred billion, decreasing by 31.9%.

Meanwhile, the company’s sales profits were at KRW7.914 hundred billion.

Hyundai Steel stated that the sluggish steel market in 2012 affected its sales.

Besides, Hyundai Steel’s output of finished steel products totaled 16.04 million tons in 2012, including 8.91 million tons of steel flat products and 7.13 million tons of rebar and section steel.
